Prime Minister personally apologises to gay wartime hero Alan Turing

Gordon Brown, the British Prime Minister, has issued a posthumous apology to Enigma codebreaker Alan Turing for the ‘appalling’ way he was punished for being gay, and that he was ‘deeply sorry’ for the inhumane treatment of the Cambridge mathematician.

Thirty thousand people had signed a petition seeking the apology.

Mr. Turing’s response is not known, as communications between Earth and Heaven tend to be difficult, but Gay Activist imagines his reply would be somewhat cryptic.
